- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent)
- You can revoke location permissions in your device settings.
3.5 Community Content
We process content you actively submit (e.g. ratings, comments, photos, location entries).
- Purpose: Providing community and rating features
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR
This also includes voluntarily saved help solutions (help_solutions) where you confirm a solution as helpful and contribute it to the knowledge base. Storage is anonymized or without public attribution to your user profile, where technically implemented.

- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR
Automatic update of location coordinates (optional)
If you enable “Update coordinates automatically” in the app as a RoadService provider, we process your current GPS location to update the coordinates stored in your RoadService profile on our servers.
- Voluntary use: This feature is disabled by default and is only used if you actively opt in. You can turn it off at any time in your RoadService settings.
- When: When you open or return to the app, after a successful GPS fix (provided location permission has been granted).
- Conditions: An update only occurs if your location has changed by at least 50 meters compared to the stored coordinates and the last coordinate update was more than 2 hours ago.
- Storage: The new coordinates are saved directly to your RoadService entry on our servers (without a new admin approval), similar to the direct visibility toggle.
- Visibility: Other users can see your location on the map. If “Hide exact location coordinates” is enabled, your location is shown only approximately.
- Purpose: Keeping your RoadService location up to date for other users.
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent by enabling the toggle).

Location data for the help marker is processed only when you actively use Community Help. Other users in your vicinity are not notified via server-side tracking; any proximity notice may be implemented client-side.
